Philosophy & Objectives
At North Georgia Christian School, we believe that education is not pragmatic in nature, but instead, we believe it is a process rooted in the spiritual. An education will not only enhance the academics and the intelligence of each student, but it will also contribute in a significant way to who the student becomes as an adult. An education contributes in a categorical way to each student's sense of worldview, right from wrong, personality, and social development.
We believe that there can be no substitute for a Christian education. A student will develop, during the K -12 experience, life long friends, mentors, heroes, and most importantly a faith that becomes their own. These ought to be developed in an educational environment that closely reflects your deepest heartfelt beliefs.
North Georgia Christian School believes that education is part of God's creation; therefore, it ought to begin with Him, be rooted in Him, and be for His glory. A NGC education is one that is rooted in excellence. There are three continuums on which a NGC education operates: the first is to assist you and your child in reaching your child's intelligence maximum. This involves academic challenge and critical thinking skills. The second is to instill into your child a work ethic that coupled with the academic preparation will allow your child to soar to previously unattainable heights. And, the third is to integrate the Truth of the gospel into all that we do. This is a NGC education.

Curriculum
In order to ensure excellence across the curriculum, NGC engages in an ongoing process of curriculum evaluation. The development of the curriculum guide and curriculum materials is assessed in light of NGC's mission statement. To accomplish the objectives listed in NGC's curriculum the elementary school primarily uses books from Christian publishers. To accomplish curriculum objectives the middle and high school use both Christian published materials as well as secular materials.
