Twirling
We are preparing a majorette corps made up of middle school girls for the 2008 football season.
This group would work during the summer to learn the elementary twirls and move quickly into higher level tricks including challenging tosses and partner exchange tricks. Next year this group would be able to twirl fire.
If you are dedicated, dependable, and willing to attend several practice opportunities this summer, contact Connie Champy (770)535-7351.
Athletics at North Georgia Christian School are an important component of helping fulfill the mission statement of the school - partnering with parents to prepare their children spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
NGC competes in the Independent Christian Schools of Georgia and Alabama (ICSGA) conference in the double “AA” division. On the playing fields and courts, the students who participate in our athletics program are making a commitment to model Jesus Christ as Christian student-athletes. In athletic competition, as in our discipleship of Jesus Christ, our student-athletes set goals and strive to reach the prize.
Our coaches strive to provide a Christ-like example on and off the court or field. We believe that coaches are both disciple-makers and teachers of their respective sports. Our athletes can expect to grow in their discipleship and in their athleticism. As an athletic staff, we will continue working to make athletics an important part of the development of the Christian student. We look forward to being involved in the spiritual and physical development of your students.
